Recap

It was another  barn burner at the Aurora Community Center arena yesterday as the Leafs downed the Canadiens 6 to 3.  Led by some stellar goaltending from Liam Brosseau, the Leafs overcame an early dominating Canadiens team with some strong defensive efforts . With the crowd buzzing, ” go leafs  go “, the ever consistent  Matthew Leybourne powered the Leafs with a hat trick performance. The only thing missing was the  caps littering the ice surface. Also scoring for the leafs was Crosby Schad who beat goaltender Jacob Norris with a quick head fake and a deke . Always strong on the puck , Nico Massimo displayed his craftiness with an important goal  for the Leafs .Maddox Miller scored his first of the spring season with some extra effort in front of the net.

The Canadiens were lead by a strong performance from the always  hard working Mya Stickle who scored an early one for the Canadiens. Philip Stylianou and James Acquaah each scored to round out the Canadiens scoring. The Leafs now hold the lead in the series . Will the  Canadiens  seek  for revenge and tie the series next week?
