Fall/Winter hockey season
tyke 2011 - 2013
Original Six Hockey will be offering tyke age players ( 2011-2013) an opportunity to be on an Original Six Hockey roster for this upcoming Fall/Winter hockey season. Featuring simulated jerseys of the original six NHL teams, which will be represented by our neighbouring GTA cities: Aurora, Newmarket, Bradford, Georgina, Stouffville and Richmond Hill.
We will be offering 26 weeks of exciting hockey from October to April. Saturdays will be designated as our hockey development day as qualified coaches and instructors take the players through many challenging drills, Sunday will be set up as our game day as each of the 6 teams square off with 3×3 or 4 x 4 games (to be determined) referees will be on the ice to guide players to proper on ice conduct as well as to reinforce the offside rules.
Each game will have similar key elements as offered in the original six spring Program including tracking of games score, team standings, player stats and profiles. Players will also be recognized throughout the season with Player of the Game Award.
These drills will be not only tailored to the group but to the individual requirements of the player. Proper skating strides will be and emphasis for young tyke players. All tyke players will be challenged with more intense drills designed to improve all facets of their game.our goal is to create a natural rivalry between the “original six” teams as they battle throughout the season
All games will be played at National Training Rinks in Newmarket. Tournaments, supplemental power skating programs as well as specialized skill and goal tending sessions will also be available at the N.T.R. throughout the season to further develop your players skills. We will offer, essentially, A ONE STOP SHOP hockey development program.
To cap off the season all teams will compete in 3 scintillating playoff rounds in hopes of hoisting THE ORIGINAL SIX STANLEY CUP. IT DOESN’T GET MORE EXCITING THAN THIS!.

THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED & ARE PLAYING ON THE ORIGINAL SIX HOCKEY SPRING TEAM WILL SAVE H.S.T OFF THE REGISTRATION COST FOR THE FALL / WINTER ORIGINAL SIX HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
